Actress Kubra Sait talks about various aspects of her life in her book Open Book. The book narrates about the actor's early days, social anxiety, body shaming and how he made it in the entertainment industry, raised in Bangalore.

In a chapter in her book, titled 'I Wasn't Ready to Be a Mother', the Sacred Games actress shares how she had a miscarriage a few years ago after One Night Stand.

In her book, she wrote about her vacation in Andaman a few years back when she was 30. She mentioned that after the scuba diving session, she went out for a few drinks with her friends and got intimate with one of them. However, when she did not menstruate a few days later, she took a pregnancy test and found it to be positive. “A week later, I decided to terminate the pregnancy. I was not ready for it. I had not imagined my life or my journey,” she wrote in her book.

In an interview with Times Now, Kubbra shared that she was not ready to embrace motherhood at that stage in her life and said she has "no regrets." “It was not as I imagined my life or my journey. I guess I wasn't ready for it. I was not ready because I was not ready for it as a human being. I don't think I'm ready yet. I don't understand this pressure on women to marry at the age of 23 and have children by the age of 30. It is like an invisible rule book. I knew I was not ready for this,” she said.

Kubbra said she felt like a "terrible human being" because of "the choice I made." "But my bad feeling didn't come from how I felt, but from how other people would perceive it. My choices were all about me. Sometimes it can be hard to help myself. But that's okay. You have to. It has to be done,” she said.
