So much so, Chris Evans poured praise for Robert Downey Jr. in a recent interview with ET Canada, where he was promoting his new film, The Gray Man, with Ana de Armas. "It's, perhaps, a little bit of a broken record for me, but Downey has always been largely in my corner," Chris praised RDJ, explaining how his Avengers: Endgame co-star He assisted, "Downie and I were together at a time in my career where I was still uncertain, still feeling things, trying to play a huge part. So, he's always been that kind of person. I've looked to for guidance and who better could you ask for?"
Interestingly, Robert Downey Jr. echoed similar sentiments about his close friendship with Chris Evans on The Joe Rogen Experience podcast in 2020: "He's technically such a brilliant actor, but he takes himself very seriously." Don't take it. He's flaky but he's the first guy you'll want to pat your back if something goes down."
