Thor: Love and Thunder is all set to release this month and is one of the most awaited films of Marvel. The film's trailer and promo reveal that it's going to be a Thor adventure as never thought before as it introduced a new antagonist and also brought back Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, but in a different incarnation. Marvel fans are excited for Christian Bale to join the MCU as he plays Lord Butcher in the film. At the film's global virtual press conference of which was a part, the film's main cast including Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale and Natalie Portman talked about their characters and more. Bale, who is notably seen in a different get-up in the film, spoke about playing the role of Gore and how he reacted to the same in the first place.
Reflecting on how many physical changes he's had in his career in the past, the actor said, "It's like, you know, because you don't really know what you're really doing with a character like that. .Until you see it completely, it's in your imagination. And we didn't have that long, you know, we talked about it during the quarantine and, you know, briefly . But then put it on, and it all went well."
Talking further about his character, he said, "It was a holy man with tattoos and he cut them out, and so they would all be scars. And that's when you really start playing with it and experimenting with the film's form." You know, you find it as you go."
During the press conference, Chris also noted that Christian Bale's gore is his favorite MCU villain.
Thor: Love and Thunder has been directed by Taika Waititi and is all set to release in theatres in India on July 7.
