Thor: Love and Thunder is one of Marvel's most awaited films of the year. It is the fourth installment in the Thor franchise and fans are excited to see Hemsworth return as the God of Thunder, as well as Christian Bale as the main antagonist in the film. Bale is making his MCU debut with the upcoming film.
At the film's global virtual press conference, of which Pinkvilla was also a part, Chris Hemsworth, Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Taika Waititi talked about the upcoming film. Chris who has been playing Thor for several years now has already faced several MCU villains and was asked how Christian Bale's gore stacks up against the others. Speaking about the same, Hemsworth called God Butcher his "favourite villain" in the MCU.
Elaborating on what Christian Bale brought to the film, Chris continued, "He's my favorite villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and I love everyone I've worked with, but this one in particular And a lot more to do with what Christian said earlier, there's this empathy quality, a vulnerability. You're going to find yourself, oh what he's doing is wrong, but I kinda got behind it. And every time you work with a different, different character, you bring out different things, and it was the same here. And yes, he did an incredible job."
Thor: Love and Thunder will also see the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who was introduced in the film's trailer as Mighty Thor. The Taykaa Waititi directorial is all set to release in cinemas across India on July 7, 2022.
