Ayushmann Khurrana plays gynaecologist Uday Gupta in his next movie Doctor G

On the occasion of National Doctors Day on Friday, the makers of 'Doctor Ji' shared another look of actor Ayushmann Khurrana from the film, along with what 'G' stands for in the film's title.

 In an interview with TOI, Ayushmann Khurrana openly said that he is looking forward to play the role of a doctor in the film. “The subject of Doctor Ji is very close to me. Keeping the lockdown restrictions in mind, we all look forward to the launch of the film and we are glad that the day has finally arrived. It is an honor to play a doctor on screen for the first time. I am also really excited to start shooting for the film as it is going to allow me to relive my memories of being a student and living the hostel life. “I am really excited about my director Anubhuti. I look forward to collaborating with you."

 Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, 'Doctor Ji' also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah.
