Shah Rukh Khan is making a comeback on the big screen with three films Pathan, Jawan and Dunki to release next year. Of these three, Jawan is an action thriller directed by filmmaker Atlee and stars Nayanthara as the leading lady. King Khan recently revealed the interesting first look of the film in which he is seen covering his face in a bandage. However, there are many rumors that Deepika Padukone will play the role of Shah Rukh Khan's wife in the flashback sequences in Jawaan.
"Deepika Padukone has a powerful character in Jawan, with Shah Rukh playing a dual role as a father and son. She plays Shah Rukh's wife and starred in the flashback sequences of the film. It is a small but very important role. which serves as a significant difference to the plot", a source was quoted as saying.
As per reports, Baahubali star Rana Daggubati has also joined the cast of the film for an extended cameo appearance and may play a negative role in the film.
