MVN University is a private university. It was established in 2012 by the State Legislature under the Haryana Private University Act 32 2006 Act 2010. MVNU is part of the management of Modern Vidya Niketan Society located on NH 2, Delhi-Agra National Highway, Delhi NCR region, Haryana, India. , Body. It offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.

Modern Vidya Niketan Society established in 1983 started its first cluster of schools at MVN, Sector 17 under the dynamic leadership of Late Shri Gopal Sharma, a great visionary and eminent educationist. Shri Gopal Sharma rose to heights as a true son of the soil from a very humble background and started a campaign for the untouched vision of "Quality Education for All". MVN University PhD Duration

The duration of PhD is usually 3-5 years in full time and 5-6 years in part time mode. However, unlike under-graduation and post-graduation, PhD is a pure research degree. In modern times, PhD has become very diverse and includes different qualifications in different components. The degree progresses towards different stages.

MVN University PhD Eligibility and Admission Process

Post-Graduation

Students must have at least 55% post-graduation. However, SC/ST/OBS/Specially Handicapped candidates must have at least 50% in post-graduation to apply for PhD programme. Preference is given to PhD applications for students with prior job experience in a similar field of interest.

Entrance Exam

There are some national entrance exams for admission to PhD program like CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE, UGC-NET etc. However, some universities conduct their own PhD entrance exam for admission followed by an interview round.

Interview

Some universities conduct the interview after the entrance test. Through which the students can get the details of the interview on the website of the concerned university/institute.
