Manav Rachna Vishwavidyalaya is a multidisciplinary and
interdisciplinary research driven university. The University invites online
applications from eligible candidates for admission to Doctoral (PhD) program
in accordance with the minimum standards and procedures of UGC for the award of
M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree Regulations, 2016.

Manav Rachna University Ph.D. Programme Duration
- Minimum period for submission of Ph.D. The thesis is of
three years duration, consisting of coursework and a maximum of six years.
- Extension beyond the above limit will be handled by the
competent authority of the University.
- Women candidates and persons with disabilities (disability
more than 40%) can be given a relaxation of two years in the maximum period for
submission of thesis. In addition, female candidates may be granted lump sum
maternity leave for the entire duration of M.Phil/Ph.D. As per D University
norms.
Manav Rachna University Admission Procedure
Admission to the program will be based on merit in the
entrance test and interview. The entrance test is of 100 marks, written test
(70 marks) of 90 minutes duration (MCQs) followed by interview (30 marks).
