SRM University Sonepat PhD Eligibility
Ph.D. - Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)- Candidates
should have passed Master and Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology
relevant subject with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a UGC recognized university.
However, an applicant who has qualified SIR/GATE/UGC/JRF/NET/SLET in the concerned
subject is exempted from the entrance test.
Ph.D. - Civil Engineering - Candidates must have passed
Master's and Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology relevant discipline
from a UGC recognized university and must have 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in
aggregate. However, an applicant who has qualified CSIR/GATE/UGC/JRF/NET/SLET
in the concerned subject is exempted from the entrance test.
Ph.D. - Electronics & Communication Engineering - Candidates
should have passed Master and Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology
relevant subject from a UGC recognized University with 55% marks or equivalent
CGPA. However, an applicant who has qualified CSIR/GATE/UGC/JRF/NET/SLET in the
concerned subject is exempted from the entrance test.
Ph.D. - Mechanical Engineering (ME) - Candidates must have
passed Master's and Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with 55% marks
or equivalent CGPA in aggregate. However, an applicant who has qualified
CSIR/GATE/UGC/JRF/NET/SLET in the concerned subject is exempted from the
entrance test.
