University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2021 results are likely to be declared by next week. The candidates who are eagerly waiting for the result will be able to check the scores after the release on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The UGC-NET exam determines the eligibility of Indian citizens for Assistant Professorship, NET-JRF i.e. Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professorship in Indian Universities and Colleges.
NET-JRF Examinations of Two Sessions Held in Three Phases
The National
Testing Agency (NTA) had conducted the UGC NET-JRF examination December 2020
and June 2021 session examinations in the first phase from November 20, 2021 to
December 5, 2021 and in the second phase from December 24 to December 27, 2021.
The third stage of UGC NET exam was conducted on January 4 and 5, 2022 through
Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 81 subjects.
Two years
for JRF
Once you
clear NET and JRF, you have 2 years validity of the score to apply in colleges
for research fellowship. The score has lifetime validity if you want to apply
as an Assistant Professor.

Results How to Check
After the
release of the results of UGC NET-JRF Exam December 2020 and June 2021 session
by the National Testing Agency, candidates will be able to check and download
their score cards by following the easy steps given below here.
- First of all
go to NTA website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
- Here on the
homepage click on 'UGC NET December 2020 & June 2021 Results'.
- Now enter
application number and date of birth in the window that opens and click on
login.
- After this your UGC NET-JRF December 2020 and June 2021 result will be displayed.
- You download
it and also take a print out of it for future reference.
