Eligibility Criteria:

Before applying for the test, candidates must meet the AIIMS MBBS Eligibility Criteria. Some of the eligibility requirements are as follows:

·         Age Requirement: Candidates must have reached or will reach the age of 17 by December 31st of the year of admission.

·         Applicants who were born on or after January 2, 2005 are ineligible to apply.

·         Minimum Marks: For General and OBC students, the minimum aggregate of marks in the examination is 60%, for SC/ST candidates it is 50%, and for PWBD candidates it is 45 percent.

·         Subjects: Candidates must have passed the qualifying exams in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

·         The application form can be filled out online by candidates.

·         Candidates must complete basic registration, code generation, and final registration in order to fill out an application.

Exam 2022: What’s New?

The AIIMS 2020 test was held for admission to the institute's MBBS programme. The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test has now taken its place. In 2020, the AIIMS MBBS exam will be abolished. The scores acquired in NEET will henceforth be used to determine admission to AIIMS' undergraduate medical programmes.

Exam Pattern:

·         Test Mode: The exam will be administered in an online (CBT) format.

·         Marking Scheme: Each right answer will receive one point.

·         Negative Marking: For each erroneous response, 1/3 of a mark will be deducted.

·         The question paper will be offered in either English or Hindi, depending on the preference of the candidates.

·         The test will be administered in two shifts.

Syllabus:

The syllabus for the Competitive Entrance Examination will be based on the 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science and will begin in 12th grade. The Institute will not provide a different syllabus for the test. Physics, chemistry, and biology disciplines can be used to prepare candidates.

Preparation Tips:

·         Make a detailed timetable and stick to it.

·         Examine prior year's question papers to get a sense of the exam format.

·         Examine the syllabus for classes 11 and 12 and go through each item in the NCERT books.

Answer Key:

Following the completion of the admission exam, the AIIMS Answer Key will be made available online. Candidates will be able to estimate their marks in AIIMS MBBS 2021 using the answer key. Test Comparison:

·         While AIIMS is available online, NEET is not. So you don't have to worry about filling out the omr form at AIIMS.

·         Number of questions: In AIIMS, 200 questions are asked, however in NEET, just 180 are asked.

·         Time allotted: AIIMS is three and a half hours long, whereas NEET is merely three hours long.

·         Sections: The NEET examination is broken into three sections, however the AIIMS exam has an extra section for GENERAL KNOWLEDGE.
