The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is a state-level test in Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), a statutory entity of the Andhra Pradesh government, organises the AP EAMCET. On behalf of APSCHE, the test is administered by Jahawarlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. The Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is an entrance test for professional programmes in medical, engineering, and agriculture provided by numerous institutions and colleges throughout the state of Andhra Pradesh. The National Testing Agency (NTA) was founded and given the responsibility to administer the country's medical entrance examination. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders are Indian nationals. Candidates must be residents of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. Applicants must be at least 16 years old as of December 31. It is 17 years for certain courses. There is, however, no upper age restriction. Candidates for engineering programmes must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with physics, chemistry, and maths from a recognised Board/University. For certain professional courses, botany and zoology disciplines are required instead of mathematics.
