The Common Admission Test, or CAT exam, is a common
aptitude test that candidates must pass in order to be considered for MBA
programmes at India's 20 IIMs and over 1,200 B-schools. Every year, around two
lakh people apply for the test. MCQs and non-MCQs from Verbal Ability &
Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning
(DILR), and Quantitative Ability make up the CAT question paper (QA). The
exam's difficulty ranges from moderate to difficult.

Test
Comparison:
The varied subjects and parts are one of the primary
variances between the CAT and XAT syllabuses. The CAT test does not feature a
Decision Making component or a General Knowledge section, however the XAT exam
does. Another significant distinction is the difficulty level of the XAT vs.
CAT exams. The XAT test is believed to be a little more tough than the CAT
exam.
