The National Defence Academy test, often known as the NDA exam, is one of the most coveted military entry examinations in the country. The test is for admission to the NDA's Army, Navy, and Air Force wings, as well as the Indian Naval Academy's course (INAC). The NDA test is held twice a year and consists of two parts: a written exam and an SSB interview. Eligibility Criteria:

Both male and female applicants must have been born between July 2, 2003 and July 1, 2006 to be eligible for the NDA 1 exam. Both male and female applicants for the NDA 2 exam must have been born between January 2, 2003 and January 1, 2006.

Exam Updates 2022:

The exam date has been set. For the first session, the test will be held on April 10th, 2022. The second session will take place on September 4, 2022. Every year, the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts the NDA (National Defense Academy) admission test.

 

Application Form 2022:

Step 1: Go to UPSC's official website, upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to "ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS UPSC EXAMINATIONS" and choose "ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS UPSC EXAMINATIONS."

Step 3: Select "Click Here for PART I" and carefully read the instructions before selecting "Yes."

Step 4: On page 1, provide your name, gender, date of birth, parents' names, nationality, and other information before clicking "proceed."

Step 5: On page 2, choose the alternatives and rank them from 1 to 4 (or '0' if you don't want to rank them). Fill out pages 3 and 4 if you are a Sainik/Military School student or the son of a JCO/NCO/Other Rank Officer.

Step 6: Pay the application costs using any online payment method that suits you.

Step 7: Choose an examination centre and upload your photo and signature.

Step 8: Save the application form to your computer and print it off for future use.

 

Exam Application Fee 2022:

·         The candidate must pay the application costs either online or offline after completing the application form.

·         The NDA Exam has an application fee of INR 100.

·         The application costs are waived for SC and ST applicants.

·         Application costs can be paid online or by depositing funds at any SBI Bank branch.

 

Exam 2022: What’s New?

The National Defence Academy (1) examination will be held on April 10th, 2022, while the National Defence Academy (2) examination will be held on September 4th, 2022. As previously stated, the NDA (1) online examination form has been issued, and qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Syllabus:

·         The National Defense Academy's curriculum includes areas such as mathematics and the General Ability Test (GAT). The syllabus is designed for students in grades 10, 11, and 12. The subjects covered in the curriculum are listed below for candidates' review:

·         Algebra, Calculus, Matrices and Determinants, Integral Calculus and Differential Equations, Trigonometry, Vector Algebra, Analytical Geometry of Two and Three Dimensions, Statistics and Probability are some of the topics covered in mathematics.

·         NDA's GAT curriculum is broken into two sections. Part A has English questions, whereas Part B contains General Knowledge questions. Grammar and Usage, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and Cohesion are all covered in the English section. Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, General Science, Geography, and Current Events are all covered in the General Knowledge section.

 

Preparation Tips:

·         To begin, applicants must be aware of the topics, pattern, and sorts of questions that will be asked.

·         NDA's Mathematics portion includes questions on algebra, matrices, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and other topics. Candidates must understand concepts from NCERT books for classes 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.

·         Chemistry, General Science, Geography, History, and Current Affairs are among the disciplines covered on the GAT. There is also a part on English in this paper.

·         Candidates must go through the topics they have already studied again.

·         Make brief and straightforward notes to assist applicants in revising effectively and fast.

·         Solve NDA exam papers from past years and take NDA practise tests.

Exam Reservation:

A reservation has been made. The NDA is only available to those candidates who truly merit it. The academy does not believe in reserving seats based on caste, religion, or any other factor, but instead believes in reserving every place for those who merit it.

 

Answer Key:

Within a few hours of the test being completed, the NDA answer key 2022 for Maths and GAT will be available. The coaching institutes will offer the answer keys on an unofficial basis. After the recruiting process is completed, the official answer keys are released. Candidates will be able to determine their likely scores using the answer key.

 

Cut Off:

The NDA cutoff for the written test and final selection is announced after the final result is announced. The written test cutoff is based on a scale of 900. The final cutoff is determined by the scores obtained by the last suggested candidates out of a total of 1800 points (900 marks of written exam and 900 marks of SSB Interview). For each topic, the qualifying NDA cutoff points are set at 25%. Candidates must pass the test by scoring above the cutoffs in both the written exam and the SSB interview.
