At the doctoral level, SGT University offers a PhD program
of minimum three years duration (the maximum duration depends on the course
work). Final selection for PhD is subject to an entrance test conducted by the

Post-Graduation
Students must have at least 55% post-graduation. However,
SC/ST/OBS/Specially Handicapped candidates must have at least 50% in
post-graduation to apply for PhD programme. Preference is given to PhD
applications for students with prior job experience in a similar field of
interest.
Entrance Exam
There are some national entrance exams for admission to PhD
program like CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE, UGC-NET etc. However, some universities
conduct their own PhD entrance exam for admission followed by an interview
round.
