Punjab Elections Triangular Alliance- BJP Will Contest Election On 65 Seats, PLC On 37 Seats & SAD-Sanyukt Will Contest On 15 Seats
The seat-sharing has been done among the triangular alliance for the Punjab Assembly elections. BJP President JP Nadda said that BJP will contest on 65 seats, Punjab Lok Congress chief on 37 seats and SAD-United chief on 15 seats. Nadda said that Punjab needs special attention. Security is a very minor issue. This choice is for stability and security. Our aim is to bring Punjab back on track. Nadda said that the SIT has been constituted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to investigate the 1984 riots and today the accused are in jails. We will end 'Mafia Raj' in Punjab.
Total Seat and Party
For the Punjab elections, a triangular alliance (BJP, Punjab Lok Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal United) has made a special strategy for the Sikhs. After the election churning, all the coalition partners have decided to field Sikh faces in 70 of the total 117 seats in the assembly. The Bharatiya Janata Party alone has decided to field 33 to 35 Sikh faces. Other alliance partners Punjab Lok Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (United) have also been advised by the BJP central leadership to field candidates on the same strategy.
Election is very important for all the three political parties
Former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh's Punjab Lok Congress and Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa's Shiromani Akali Dal (United) are contesting the polls after the BJP parted ways with the SAD in the assembly elections to be held next month.This election is particularly important for the three political parties involved in the triangular alliance. For the Captain as well as the BJP, winning the Punjab elections will decide the political future in the state. This is the reason why other coalition parties including BJP are very serious about Punjab elections.

Sikhs have always been the pivot in the elections in Punjab, so other allies along with the BJP's central leadership have devised a special strategy for the Sikhs. In which it has been decided that out of the 117 assembly seats, only Sikh faces should be fielded in most of the seats. Some BJP leaders told that the three parties have decided That BJP will field Sikh faces in about 35 seats. Most of these faces will be comprised of farmers and OBCs. Party sources said that the BJP's central leadership has also advised Captain and Dhindsa to field as many candidates as possible on the same formula.
