Sushant University PhD Admission Guideline
Sushant University offers doctoral research programs leading
to the award of Ph.D. The degree and objective is to develop individuals as
distinguished researchers in the fields of architecture, design, engineering,
management, computer science, law and applied science. Related Schools of the
University Ph.D. Programs with emphasis on promoting inter-disciplinary
research in these areas.
The duration of the part-time and full-time PhD program is 3
years. The maximum duration of the PhD program (from the date of registration)
shall not exceed 6 years. Thereafter, the registration is automatically
cancelled, unless, for valid reasons, the Vice-Chancellor usually gives an
extension of more than six months.

- The PhD minimum eligibility required for admission to the
program will be Master's degree in relevant subject with minimum 55% or
equivalent marks or equivalent grade.
- M.Phil. degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade
and Master's Degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks in aggregate Programs

The purpose of the entrance test for admission to the PhD
program will be to determine the ability and ability to do research work. There
will be two papers; First research methodology and second topic specific.
