The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has said that the All India quota seats which were earlier returned to the states after Round 2 counselling, will now be filled in the mop up and stray vacancy rounds.

At the same time, due to the non-starting of NEET counseling, resident doctors across the country started dharna again. Due to the continuous delay in the counseling schedule, the resident doctors started their strike by demanding the counseling schedule at the earliest.
